As a postdoctoral researcher investigating the neurobiological mechanisms underlying alcohol use disorder and its comorbid conditions, I am deeply committed to fostering collaborations that support underrepresented groups in the field. ALBA’s initiatives align with my goals of advancing neuroscience through diverse perspectives, mentoring early-career scientists, and engaging in global discussions that drive scientific innovation. From the initial days of my research experience, I was very much interested and intrigued about learning cellular and in-vivo animal models of neuroscience. Exploring neuroscience communities and participating in conferences, training and workshops would allow me to build a strong background in the fields of cellular and molecular neuroscience and would help me in utilizing the concepts during my PhD and post PhD research.
