Recognising and mitigating bias in selection. This ALBA-IBRO online workshop will explore how biases influence decision-making and encourage participants to examine their definition of scientific excellence. 

This interactive workshop will provide a space for open and constructive conversations on key diversity topics, such as inclusive leadership and mentorship, the impostor phenomenon, or dealing with disabilities.

This session will offer practical examples of situations where EDI measures have been questioned or undermined, and offer actionable insights and strategies for building resilience, sustaining efforts and avoiding burnout in the pursuit of equity and inclusion.

ALBA will hold a special interest event and the ALBA-FKNE Diversity Prize 2025 Ceremony at the FENS Regional Meeting 2025. The panel discussion will explore the barriers faced by international researchers in Nordic regions.
