ALBA represents a global diverse network of individual neuroscientists who are involved in research, education, communication and advocacy, and are committed to supporting and advocating for actions and policies that foster diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in brain sciences across the globe. We currently have 1890 individual members from 91 countries.

I joined ALBA because :
I work as the Strategic Manager for Cambridge Neuroscience, an Interdisciplinary Research Centre within the University of Cambridge connecting >800 researchers across the University, who are involved with research into the nervous system. My role involves working with academics from across the University (including underrepresented groups) to support the interdisciplinary scientific community in neuroscience. This involves workshops, seminars, facilitating introductions and external interactions, an interactive website, communications and public engagement. I would like to bring the work of Alba to Cambridge and beyond (in my role as chair of FENS Communication committee).
