I believe that the mission of the Alba network is of extreme importance to allow us to make more inclusive and collaborative neuroscience. I am starting my own research group and I would like to implement such vision in my lab as well.

Because I would like to apply for the Travel Awards for Neuroscience Meetings.

I am interested in equity in all fields; and I'd be glad meeting people with the same interests.

Joining the Alba Network opens the door to a world where neuroscience meets different fields of knowledge. The diversity of perspectives and approaches will provide me with a unique opportunity. Give me the chance to immerse myself in an environment where experts from different disciplines come together to collaborate, share ideas and discoveries.

I think this is a neccesary as well as inspiring network

to increase knowledge of gender biases and promote best practices to counteract it

I join ALBA Network because I believe their is a unbalanced gender representation in higher level positions in general.
I hope that these type of networks can help override this bias

I consider equal opportunities should be a priority in brain sciences, in science in general, and global society.

It provides you with tools to network and collaborate with other experts in the field. Through mentoring programs, I can contribute to fostering a positive change in the field, promoting a more inclusive and equitable future for all of us. I have a keen interest in this topic due to my personal experience as a female neuroscientist and mother of three, two of whom are also girls. I actively participated in creating a local support network for female researchers during my postdoctoral stage, called 'STEM Circuits.' I am delighted to be a part of a larger network that focuses on my research field.

I recently attended one of the meetings organized by the ALBA network and found it really useful for my future. I would like to be more involved in such opportunities and see If I can contribute in any way to help fellow scientist to prosper in neuroscience in Europe.

I want to be part of ALBA Network to stay informed about the latest publications from this global and diverse community of neuroscientists. ALBA offers a platform for research, education, communication, and advocacy, emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Joining this network aligns with my commitment to staying updated and connected in the field.

I would like to join to get more involved in the LGTBQ scientific community and because I am highly interested in attending the seminars that are organized by ALBA

I am seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge, participate in innovative research, and connect with passionate minds who share my commitment to scientific advancement
