ALBA represents a global diverse network of individual neuroscientists who are involved in research, education, communication and advocacy, and are committed to supporting and advocating for actions and policies that foster diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in brain sciences across the globe. Women's contributions to sciences have been underestimated. More than ever, equality among genders must operate in neurosciences (and every other scientific fields). I believe that it is extremely important that every human being must have the same rights, opportunities and recognition, so totally agree with Alba Network actions.

As a PhD student at the Preclinical MRI Lab at Champalimaud Foundation, I work with fMRI in rodents to study brain oscillations.
