The Network

ALBA represents a global diverse network of individual neuroscientists who are involved in research, education, communication and advocacy, and are committed to supporting and advocating for actions and policies that foster diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in brain sciences across the globe. We currently have 1890 individual members from 91 countries.

I joined ALBA because :
As seen in my profile, I am an underrepresented person. Coming from that background, many challenges one has to face - lack of opportunities, guidance, exposure. therefore visibility in the world level brain research network! I am passionate about brain research and would like to reach onto a right platform to utilise my skills and knowledge after completion of my PhD. To achieve that I feel necessary to have a mentorship as well as up to date information on brain research. Therefore, I am joining ALBA!
