I joined ALBA because :
As a female Portuguese neuroscientist, it has been quite a challenge to combine my work (research and teaching) together with raising a family in a country that as significant scientific financial issues and in a world that seems to still expect more from women for family issues. I think that joining ALBA will help me both scientifically and personally.
