I am a neuroscientist with a strong interest in the neural basis of social behaviors, whose disruption is highly prevalent in neuropsychiatric disease. As a woman with an immigration background, I understand the relevance of increasing the visibility of under-represented groups in brain research, as I believe that this will contribute to scientific and societal advancement.
