As part of the Department of Neuroscience and Human Development at UNILOGOS and a neuroscience researcher, I want to make agreements with institutions and meet researchers in neuroscience and human development.

To participate in the elaboration of a more equal and diverse scientific network.

I firmly agree with all the values and mission of the ALBA network and was inspired by a talk given by Prof Francesca Cirulli at the ECNP EC workshop in Nice.

To assist me with needed economic resources to attend conferences abroad where I'll communicate my research to others, interact with fellow researchers and improve my international network.

I am joining ALBA primarily to access the travel grant for the FENS Forum, which presents a significant opportunity for my professional growth in neuroscience. This grant will enable me to attend a pivotal event in my field, fostering my learning and allowing me to contribute more effectively to current research in computational neuroscience. My participation in the FENS Forum, supported by ALBA, aligns with my goals to stay at the forefront of neuroscience research and to actively engage with the global scientific community.

I am eager to join the ALBA Network to actively contribute to its mission of promoting equity and diversity in the brain sciences. My background in clinical medicine and biomedical informatics has highlighted the critical need for inclusive practices and diverse perspectives in neuroscience research and application. I am particularly drawn to ALBA's commitment to empowering scientists as advocates for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), promoting best practices to counteract bias, and providing professional development opportunities for underrepresented groups. By becoming a member, I aim to collaborate with like-minded professionals to develop and implement strategies that foster inclusivity within the neuroscience community. I am also interested in participating in ALBA's initiatives, such as networking events and mentoring programs, to support the career development of underrepresented neuroscientists.
Joining ALBA aligns with my personal and professional goals of advocating for equitable opportunities and creating a more inclusive environment in the field of brain sciences.
