I have just became aware of ALBA while browsing the FENS Forum schedule. Having spent my entire research career abroad, I am highly sensitive and sympathetic to diversity and inclusion. I may not be considered a "brain scientist", but I work with neurons and on Alzheimer's.

I believe that the research world suffers from lack of diversity. By eliminating (or, at least, reducing) structural racism, we should be able to reduce that. I am interested in joining Alba to aid in these efforts.
