To let me know what’s going on in this field and help me keep up with current scientific and professional issues. By being a part of a scientific society, you already have built a link, but you also have opportunities to meet people face-to-face at the annual meeting and smaller conferences held throughout the year. Develop professionally. Resources for career and professional development are priceless for graduate students.

Our group is interested to understand the extracellular role of Tau in microglia. Further we are interested in the development of therapeutic approaches targeting amyloid and tau oligomers, diagnostics and biomarkers for neurodegeneration. Our lab majorly cell culture, animal models and human tissue to investigate mechanisms of pathogenesis in Tauopathies such as Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative disorders.

As being young investigator, it’s important to participate and connect with ALBA network to understand the cutting-edge science around the globe.

I'm joining the ALBA community because I believe that the network is the most valuable asset in science. We need to break down barriers within our field and share the scientific work that we are doing. As a result, being a part of the group may open my mind to different approaches in Neuroscience, as well as provide an opportunity to expand and share my knowledge.
