I joined ALBA because :
I am deeply invested in expanding the accessibility of neuroscience to people of different backgrounds. ALBA seems to be an excellent opportunity to help get people involved who otherwise would not have these options. I personally come from a mixed race background and have seen first hand the disparity in the opportunities given to different members of my family.

I joined ALBA because :
Since my first year of medical school, I have been always interested in neurology, especially neuro-oncology and the underlying molecular biology of developing brain tumors. I enjoy navigating and conducting research in the field of neuroscience. I recently published a review article on a novel oncogene that enhances malignant glioma progression: Astrocyte elevated gene-1. I am eager to maintain my interest in neurology and look forward to enhancing my knowledge and enthusiasm by being a member of ALBA Network. This membership may allow me to communicate with neurologists from all over the world and share our ideas and thoughts.
