ALBA represents a global diverse network of individual neuroscientists who are involved in research, education, communication and advocacy, and are committed to supporting and advocating for actions and policies that foster diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in brain sciences across the globe. I believe in making science a fairer field. I believe that passion for knowledge and enthusiasm for science are not dependent on age, gender, nationality or financial ability. The development of knowledge as a basic driver of scientific research should not be capitalized on, as it excludes people and ideas based solely on their financial possibilities. I would love to be engaged in an association that "levels" the playing field.
