Scientists with disabilities are often rendered invisible by the system; to the point which when ones thinks about diversity in science, disability isn’t what first comes to mind. While the condition of people with disabilities is improving, discrimination and lack of accessibility to faculty buildings and scientific equipment still hampers their academic career.
