I joined ALBA because :
People with invisible disabilities can face clear disadvantages when working in science. The lack of a stable work environment, long working hours and difficulties with travel and career mobility can be difficult to reconcile with the academic career track. I hope my voice could be helpful to the ALBA network.

I am excited to join the ALBA Network because promoting equity and diversity in the brain sciences is essential for advancing the field and unlocking new discoveries. I am particularly keen on working with groups to increase the inclusion of underrepresented scientists and models of African ancestry. ALBA's goals thus align with my values and my desire to make a positive impact.
